It is best to order your invitations 3 to 4 months before the wedding date. The sooner you order them, the more time
you will have to make any necessary changes. Once your invitations are ready, send them at least 6 weeks in advance,
8 weeks if possible.
The date for which your guests should return their reply cards is essential. The reply by date should be at least 3 weeks
before the wedding so you have enough time to give your vendors final counts and plan the seating chart.
Number the back of every response card and keep a numbered list with the corresponding names. When you receive a card that
is blank, or cannot read the handwriting, you will still be able to figure it out.
When you are at the post office and ready to put your beautiful invitations into the mail, ask to have them hand stamped.
You might be required to stamp them yourself, but the extra time is worth it knowing they won't be ruined by going through a machine.
